What Additional Local Number does

Every account ships with one local number. This add-on adds another. Most owners use it to give a specific Wingman its own line (Mia answers the after-hours number, Harper sends from a separate sales line), or to split inbound by department, campaign, or location. Standard cost is $1.15/mo for the rental and we bill it at $5/mo — the markup covers delivery charges and the deploy work.

Do I need this? +

Only if you want a second line. The included number that ships with your account is enough for most single-line businesses. Add this when you want a dedicated after-hours number, a per-department line, or per-campaign tracking.

How am I billed? +

$5/mo on your recurring invoice, charged on the same day each month as your main Wingman subscription. Usage on the number (SMS, voice minutes) debits your normal wallet at standard rates.

Can I cancel it later? +

Yes — release the number from your settings any time. Billing stops at the end of the current cycle. Any unused portion of the month is not refunded.

Can I port in my existing business number instead? +

Yes, port-in is supported but follows the standard porting process (typically 1-3 weeks). Talk to us before you start — we'll guide you through it instead of adding a brand-new number.
